Gender Equality: Girls Education in Focus

It breaks my heart to know that this could still happen despite the growing call for an end to gender discrimination and the inclusion of women and girls in strategic positions/decision-making.

Girls and women should not be made to feel they are unimportant in a society with this type of treatment. They also have dreams of becoming professionals in various fields/careers in future and an abrupt end to their education through a ban, early marriage and child labour means putting an end to their dreams which could affect them emotionally, mentally and physically.

I join the rest of the world to call for an immediate end to the ban on girls' education in Afghanistan and other parts of the world where girls' education is not prioritised.

Summary

All infringements of girls' rights across the world have to stop!
