I visited a public health facility today and was surprised to see their staff at the entrance encouraging people to wash their hands in the provided bowls. This should be enforced daily and not only on special days.

Children should also be taught how to properly wash their hands and the importance of doing it regularly. It's never too early to teach them proper hygiene starting with hand washing.

Our culture of "dirt doesn't harm a black man" should stop. If your hands could talk, what would they say to you now based on how you've been treating them hygienically?

Don’t forget that the children’s health could be affected by your lack of proper hygiene so help keep them healthy.

Unite for safety: clean your hands.
